Grasse Institute of Perfumery

On 17 December, the International Perfume Museum hosted a key moment for the perfume industry: the graduation ceremony of ASFO’s Grasse Institute of Perfumery (GIP) Class of 2025. Parfex, proud sponsor of this class, had the honour of participating in this event celebrating the creativity and expertise of Grasse.

Under the direction of our master perfumer Jean-François Thizon, the ceremony highlighted an international class of students from 10 countries and 3 continents. Their challenge? To enhance the light of Grasse through unique olfactory creations.

Among these talented individuals, four teams were rewarded, and the winning fragrance, Ahir, created by Guillem Herms Pérez (Spain), Alex Kuo and Yenchi Lin (Taiwan), will soon be on display at the Grasse Tourist Office. This wonderful initiative, led by Mr Jérôme Viaud, Mayor of Grasse and President of the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Grasse, will allow the general public to discover this creation.

This sponsorship was a truly human experience with passionate and dedicated talents, representing the new generation of perfumers. Parfex reaffirms its commitment to passing on Grasse’s perfumery know-how and congratulates all the graduates on their promising future internationally.
